“I came to see Laura when I was in my early 40’s. I had been experiencing neck and lower back pain since my early teenage years. Although chiropractic care had given me relief, that was only true if I got adjusted at least 3 times a week. I hurt the left side of my neck when I took a bad fall while skiing, but after a couple massages the pain was mostly gone and I thought the problem was resolved. Then a week later I started having serious pain in my right shoulder, like I’d gotten punched from the side. A friend of mine recommended Laura and she gave me an appointment within a day or two. “All runners dread the day when an injury stops them from the pursuing their sport of choice. This happened for me whei I was diagnosed with a pinched nerve in my back. “I am 83 and had been suffering from debilitating lower back and leg aches and stiffness for several months. “I cannot say enough about how helpful Laura is. My daughter had nagging knee pain but had never injured it. We took her to an orthopedic surgeon who could not find anything in particular on an x-ray or MRI. He gave her a note to sit out of gym class. It didn’t clear up so he prescribed physical therapy. The strengthing exercises didn’t really help either. I met Laura at a party and arranged to have her come to my house and examine my daughter. As I understand it, she said it was pressure on the nerves running from the lower back to the knee and prescribed a certain back exercise. The pain cleared up and so I had her look at my shoulder.
